| Obverse description | Central vignette presents a large intaglio-style bust of Decebal, the last king of Dacia, rendered in fine engraved stipple against a blue-green geometric guilloche underprint with radiating sunburst patterns. The denomination numeral '100' appears at upper centre integrated with the Dacian draco wolf-dragon symbol, while the text 'UNA SUTA LEI' repeats as a latent underprint across the mid-field. An ornate folk-art border with diamond and geometric motifs frames the entire design, with the BFR roundel logo at lower right and the designer's signature at lower left. |

Not a banknote in any monetary sense — this is a privately produced fantasy piece issued under a fictitious authority, "Banca Fantezista a Romaniei," which translates roughly as the Fantastical Bank of Romania. Such items occupy an awkward corner of the hobby: too well-designed to dismiss, too unofficial to catalog alongside genuine currency. Dani Crisan has been producing this series for the Romanian collector market, with subjects drawn from pre-medieval and Dacian history — Decebal being the last king of Dacia, defeated by Trajan in 106 AD.
