| Obverse description | The obverse features a detailed relief depiction of the Sfatul Țării (Council of the Country) building in Chișinău, rendered in fine architectural detail across the central and lower fields. Above the building, the denomination 100 LEI is prominently inscribed, flanked by the country name ROMANIA arched along the upper border. Below the building, the Romanian coat of arms shield appears centrally between the numerals of the date 2018. A facsimile excerpt of the Actul Unirii (Act of Union), voted by the Sfatul Țării on 27 March 1918, is engraved in the field above the architectural scene, lending the design a strong historical documentary character. |
