Reverse description A stacked multi-line Arabic legend occupies the central field, enclosed within a finely detailed laurel and olive wreath tied at the base with a ribbon bow. A single five-pointed star appears at the top of the wreath above the legend. The inscription records the mint name (Constantinople) and the AH regnal year 1293, arranged in three horizontal lines in a formal Ottoman chancellery script. The beaded border encircles the entire design, consistent with standard Ottoman gold minting practice of the period.
