(Translation: 100 Faroe Islands One hundred kroner According to notice no. 32 of 14th of October 1940, adopted by the lagting of the Faroes and attended by the county man of the Faroe Islands, the present note is issued on behalf of the National Bank of Denmark. Reverse description The reverse is printed in a plain orange-ochre underprint with no vignette or ornamental guilloche work. The denomination is rendered in large bold white reserve lettering arranged in a curved arch, with the word 'HUNDREDE' above and 'KRONER' below flanking the central numeral '100', set against the solid coloured ground within a simple rectangular border.
