Obverse description The quartered coat of arms of the Czech and Slovak Federative Republic occupies the central field, featuring the Bohemian double-tailed lion in the upper left and lower right quarters, and the Slovak cross on triple mounts in the upper right and lower left quarters, with decorative ornamental supporters at the left and right flanks of the shield. The multiline legend ČESKÁ A SLOVENSKÁ FEDERATIVNÍ REPUBLIKA arcs across the lower field beneath the arms, with the denomination 100 and the currency abbreviation KČS inscribed below in large numerals, the zeros of 100 rendered as stylized spiral motifs.
