Obverse description Brown and white intaglio-printed note with a vignette at right reproducing Rembrandt's 1647 portrait of Adriaentje Hollaer, wife of Dutch painter Hendrick Sorgh. The portrait is set against an intricate guilloche underprint with geometric designs across the face. Denomination numerals and bank title appear in the surrounding lettering.

Reverse description Multicolour geometric composition built around a central medallion of dense concentric guilloche rosettes in green, blue, and brown tones, enclosed within interlocking triangular frames of fine lathe-work. The DNB monogram appears in the central medallion, with denomination numerals "100" in brown at lower left and lower right. Date and place of issue are inscribed at lower left, with printer's imprint at lower centre.
