Reverse description Central crowned oval shield bearing the quartered royal arms of the Two Sicilies — comprising the fields of Castile, León, Aragon, and Sicily — displayed on an ornate cartouche and flanked on either side by a palm branch to the left and an olive branch to the right, tied at the base with a floral sprig. The mint assayer initials C.C. appear to either side of the crown above the shield. The date 1784 is inscribed to the upper left of the crown within the legend.
