Obverse description Bare-headed effigy of Prince Rainier III facing left, rendered in high relief with finely detailed hair combed back from the forehead. The truncation of the bust is visible at the lower field, signed 'P. TURIN' beneath. The circular legend reads 'RAINIER III PRINCE DE MONACO' along the periphery, with the date '1950' appearing in the lower exergual area. The portrait reflects the refined neoclassical style characteristic of engraver Pierre Turin.
