Reverse description
The reverse of the coin highlighting the Dutch influence on the city`s history and culture. In 1624, the Dutch West India Company established a trading post on the southern tip of Manhattan Island, which would later become known as New Amsterdam. All around of the reverse, the inscription: `400 YEARS NEW YORK - NEW AMSTERDAM` – the name of the coin, `0.5g FINE GOLD`- the weight of the coin and the fineness of the Gold.
