Reverse description The denomination '100 FRANCS' is boldly inscribed in large Latin letters at the center of the field, accompanied below by the Arabic equivalent 'فرنك' (franc). The Gregorian year 'AN 1953' and the Hijri year '1372' appear beneath the denomination, separated by a beaded inner circle. Surrounding the central legend, a continuous Arabic inscription in Maghrebi script runs along the inner border, while the bilingual outer legend reads 'MAROC' at the top and 'EMPIRE CHERIFIEN' divided to the left and right, all enclosed within a finely milled rim.
