Obverse description A central medallion frames the head of Marianne, rendered in Edmund Dulac's distinctive artistic style, wearing the Phrygian cap and turned to the left. Flanking the medallion on both sides are stylised plant motifs forming a decorative frame. The denomination '100' appears on either side, with the inscriptions 'REPUBLIQUE FRANCAISE' and 'TRESOR CENTRAL' integrated into the design.
