Obverse description A kneeling sharpshooter in relief, aiming a rifle to the right, occupies the central field within a beaded inner circle. The engraver's signature EMIL WIEDERKEHR appears in small lettering along the lower base. A circular legend surrounds the beaded border with the date •1939• at the bottom.

Reverse description The reverse features a bold four-line inscription in the central field, below which appears a small Swiss shield. The denomination 100 FR is inscribed at the bottom of the field, flanked by decorative scrolls and the mint mark B.
