Obverse description The obverse displays the coat of arms of the Republic of Togo at center, featuring two rampant lions flanking a shield bearing the monogram 'RT' (République Togolaise), surmounted by two crossed national flags and a banner inscribed with the national motto 'TRAVAIL LIBERTE PATRIE'. The circular legend 'REPUBLIQUE TOGOLAISE' runs along the upper periphery, while the denomination '100 FRANCS CFA' is inscribed in the lower field. The entire design is set against a darkened field with a fine beaded inner border.

Togo's coinage authority has issued a long-running series of silver-plated commemoratives through the Scottsdale Mint and similar third-party producers, targeting the collector market rather than circulation. These pieces were never intended to function as currency and were sold directly to distributors. KM# 107 is one of dozens of similar issues from this program.
