(Translation: JEAN GRAND DUKE OF LUXEMBOURG J.N.LEFEVRE)
Reverse description A crowned and quartered coat of arms occupies the centre of the reverse, with quarters one and three bearing the arms of Nassau (a lion rampant) and quarters two and four displaying the arms of Luxembourg (a lion rampant barry). The escutcheon is supported on either side by crowned lions rampant, the whole set beneath a heraldic royal mantle surmounted by the grand ducal crown. The date 1964 and the denomination 100 F flank and underlie the shield respectively, with the engravers' initials NJL appearing beneath the dexter supporter. An interior grènetis borders the surrounding circumferential legend naming the Grand Duchy.
