Obverse description Central field bears the coat of arms of Niger, featuring a quartered shield displaying crossed swords and a millet stalk in the upper quarters, a radiant sun in the centre, and a zebu head at the base, supported by two curved elephant tusks and a ribbon scroll below. The denomination '100 FRS' is inscribed prominently in the upper field above the arms. The national motto 'FRATERNITÉ-TRAVAIL-PROGRÈS' curves along the upper legend, and the date '1968' appears in the lower exergue.
