Obverse description The coin is struck in the shape of a Christmas bell with an openwork filigree surround and a suspension loop at the top. Within the central roundel, the national coat of arms of Cameroon is depicted, featuring a shield charged with scales of justice, supported by two crossed fasces and surmounted by a star, with the motto rendered in both French and English. The date 2020 is divided either side of the shield, and the denomination 100 FRANCS CFA appears in the lower field. The circular legend REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN arcs above, with the bilingual motto PAIX TRAVAIL PATRIE / PEACE WORK FATHERLAND inscribed across the upper field.

Reverse description The reverse is struck in the same bell-shaped openwork format, with the central roundel bearing a full-color applied depiction of the Nativity scene. The Christ Child lies in a manger at center, attended by the Virgin Mary to the right, draped in a blue mantle and gesturing reverently. Saint Joseph stands behind, robed in gold, with a shepherd bearing a crook and further figures including a kneeling youth holding a lamb arranged to the left. Radiating lines in the background of the roundel evoke a halo or divine light, and the scene is rendered in a devotional painterly style consistent with traditional religious iconography.
