Obverse description The obverse is printed in blue and green tones with an intricate guilloche underprint of radiating foliage patterns filling the entire field. A central oval vignette contains the numeral 100 in bold, framed by fine lathe-work. The denomination and series inscriptions appear in two symmetrical side panels, with the serial number printed twice in the lower left and upper right corners.

(Translation: One Hundred Francs Series of 1944 Issued in France)
Reverse description The reverse is printed in blue and red tones, dominated by an elaborate sunburst guilloche radiating from a central vignette in which the tricolour French flag flies against a white sky. Ornate scrollwork and floral cornerpieces frame the composition. The republican motto arcs across the upper portion of the central vignette.
