Obverse description Central rectangular cartouche containing three lines of Arabic script identifying the ruler and the Islamic year, flanked on either side by stylized wheat or palm fronds in high relief. The cartouche is framed by an ornamental border, with the entire design enclosed within a beaded outer rim. The inscription reads the name and title of Ahmad Pasha, Muddat Bey of Tunisia, followed by the Hijri year 1361. The composition is rendered in a formal, calligraphic style consistent with Tunisian Regency coinage of the French Protectorate period.
