Obverse description Three giant elands (Taurotragus derbianus) depicted in left profile, rendered in fine naturalistic detail amid stylized savanna grasses occupying the central field. The animals are shown in a staggered overlapping arrangement, their characteristic twisted spiral horns prominently displayed. The bilingual legend 'CAMEROUN - CAMEROON' arcs across the upper field in large spaced Latin capitals. The engraver's signature 'G.B.L. BAZOR' appears along the right inner border, with a small mintmark 'CR' visible at the base of the grass composition.
