Reverse description The denomination 100 in large, bold numerals occupies the central field, the zero rendered with an ornate dotted and rope-pattern border giving a decorative African aesthetic. The word FRANCS appears in the lower central field beneath the numeral. The legend BANQUE CENTRALE curves along the upper periphery, while the date is displayed at the bottom within a recessed cartouche flanked by symmetrical geometric chevron ornaments. Two small bird privy marks appear to either side of the central numeral.
