Obverse description The central intaglio vignette presents a Moroccan kasbah fortress, set within ornate Moorish architectural borders with stylised palmette and shell motifs in the upper register. Two large scalloped white rosette medallions flank the vignette and serve as the primary watermark windows, while guilloche numerals '100' occupy the lower corners. The issuer's name BANQUE D'ÉTAT DU MAROC runs in bold letterpress across the top, with the denomination CENT FRANCS in a decorative cartouche at the lower centre.

Reverse description The central panel is anchored by an elaborate Moorish horseshoe arch with dense arabesques and geometric interlace, enclosing the issuer's name and denomination in Arabic calligraphy. Two large scalloped white rosette medallions flank the arch against a multicolour guilloche underprint with delicate floral and lattice border ornaments. The denomination numeral '100' is repeated in all four corners within rectangular cartouches, with Arabic signature lines below the central inscription.
