| Obverse description | Multicolour note based on the New Caledonia Banque de l'Indochine 100 Francs issue (P-42), with a central vignette of a seated woman holding a wreath accompanied by a small figure of Athena. A red oval overprint reads NOUVELLES HÉBRIDES FRANCE LIBRE, incorporating palm trees and the Cross of Lorraine, applied to affirm Free French authority over the territory. Printed obligations and penalty clauses in French appear in the lower border, with the denomination CENT FRANCS and payability clause rendered in intaglio. |
