Obverse description Multicolour intaglio print. A half-length female figure faces right, holding a staff with her left hand resting on her right shoulder; to her right is an oval medallion framed by scrollwork, alongside allegorical attributes including an anchor, ship, caduceus, fasces, and oak branches. The note bears the printed signatures of the engraver and designer in the lower margin.
