Obverse description Facing portrait of the Hungarian poet László Nagy occupying the central field of the bimetallic coin, set against a circular halo-like relief evoking an icon or artistic vignette. Surrounding the portrait, a schematic linear drawing of horses in motion is rendered in fine incuse lines, referencing imagery from the poet's celebrated works. Above the portrait, in cursive script, appears the opening line 'Uramisten szólok hozzád' (Lord, I am speaking to you), rendered as a facsimile of handwriting. The legend 'MAGYARORSZÁG' arcs along the left rim, 'NAGY LÁSZLÓ' along the right, the date '2025' appears at the lower left, and the birth and death years '1925–1978' are inscribed to the right of the portrait. A beaded border runs along the inner edge of the outer ring.

Reverse description The reverse features a large stylised numeral '100' in an interlocking, looping typographic design occupying the central disc of the bimetallic coin. The denomination legend 'FORINT' is inscribed along the lower arc of the inner ring in bold capital letters. The mint mark 'BP.' appears at the top of the outer ring, flanked on each side by a single wheat or olive sprig rendered in fine relief. A beaded border frames the inner edge of the outer ring, consistent with the standard Hungarian 100 Forint reverse type.
