| Obverse description | Central field features the ornate official seal of the Magyar Nemzeti Bank (Hungarian National Bank), comprising the Hungarian coat of arms encircled by the legend MAGYAR NEMZETI BANK, all within an elaborate Baroque-style cartouche adorned with scrollwork, floral motifs, and grape clusters in high relief. The founding and centenary dates 1924 and 2024 appear at left and right in the lower field respectively, flanking the inscription 100 ÉVE (100 years). The country name MAGYARORSZÁG arcs along the upper rim, and the commemorative legend A FÜGGETLEN, STABIL PÉNZÜGYI RENDSZER ŐRE (The guardian of an independent, stable financial system) is inscribed along the lower rim. A beaded border frames the entire design. |
