| Obverse description | The obverse features a large, modern high-relief bust of Marianne in right profile, her flowing hair rendered in an Art Nouveau style, dominating the right portion of the field. To her left, depicted in lower relief as if receding into the background, is the classic Semeuse (the Sower) figure after Oscar Roty's original design, striding forward and scattering seeds against a rising sun with radiating rays. The denomination '100 €uro' is inscribed in large characters along the lower portion of the field, while the monogram 'RF' (République Française) appears in the upper left.
