| Obverse description | At center, a highly detailed rendering of the Imperial Crown of Austria (Österreichische Kaiserkrone) is depicted resting upon an ermine-trimmed cushion adorned with decorative tassels, rendered with exceptional relief and fine engraving detail. The crown displays its characteristic mitre form with jeweled arched bands, orb surmount, and richly bejeweled circlet. The denomination '100 EURO' appears in the left field and the date '2012' in the right field.
