| Obverse description | The obverse features a highly stylized composition inspired by pre-Columbian Andean art. At center, a finely modeled llama rendered in high relief stands before a large frontal deity figure — likely Inti, the Inca sun god — adorned with an elaborate headdress and outstretched arms, depicted in the characteristic flat, geometric style of Inca goldwork. The background field is densely filled with angular stepped fretwork and geometric motifs evoking Inca textile and architectural patterns. To the left, within a rectangular panel, the denomination 100 EURO and date 2021 are inscribed in the field. The legend REPUBLIK ÖSTERREICH arcs along the upper rim. |
