| Obverse description | The classic Semeuse (Sower) figure, based on Oscar Roty's celebrated design, is depicted in left-facing stride at center, draped in flowing robes and scattering seed with her outstretched right hand. The figure is set against a background of radiating lines within an arched panel, flanked on both sides by horizontal line patterns and the twelve five-pointed stars of the European flag arranged around the periphery.
