Reverse description The reverse presents three overlapping portrait busts of the founding fathers of Europe arranged in a triangular composition against a stylized geometric background. Konrad Adenauer is depicted in left profile at the left, Robert Schuman in three-quarter view at upper center, and Paul-Henri Spaak facing forward at lower right. Each portrait is identified by the respective statesman's name inscribed in the field adjacent to his likeness: 'KONRAD ADENAUER' at left, 'ROBERT SCHUMAN' at upper center, and 'PAUL-HENRI SPAAK' at lower right. The engraver's monogram appears at lower left in the field.
