| Obverse description | The central field features the ground plan of a Great Moravian church excavated at Devín, within which several characters of the Glagolitic alphabet — the earliest known Slavonic script — are incorporated as decorative and symbolic elements. A border of beaded ornamental pellets frames the design along the periphery. The coat of arms of the Slovak Republic is positioned to the lower left of the ground plan. To the right appear the stylized designer's initials 'RL' for Roman Lugár, accompanied by the mintmark of the Kremnica Mint. The denomination, issuer, and date legend '100 EURO SLOVENSKO 2014' is distributed around the design. |
