Obverse description The Guyanese Coat of Arms occupies the central field, depicting a shield bearing wavy lines and a canje pheasant, supported on either side by two jaguars rampant, with a helmet and Amerindian headdress as crest above. A scroll in the lower portion of the arms bears the national motto ONE PEOPLE ONE NATION ONE DESTINY. The legend BANK OF GUYANA arcs along the upper periphery, and the date 2021 appears in the lower exergue.
