| Obverse description | This fantasy novelty note is executed entirely on a gold-plated substrate, reproducing the general layout of the 2009-series United States $100 Federal Reserve Note. The central vignette presents a large portrait of Benjamin Franklin flanked by the Federal Reserve System seal to the left and the Department of the Treasury seal to the right, with the date JULY 4, 1776 inscribed in the field. A fictitious serial number in green and denomination numerals in deep red guilloche appear at the corners, with two facsimile signature lines attributed to the Secretary of the Treasury and the Treasurer of the United States printed below the seal. |
