Obverse description The sixth and final effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, designed by Jody Clark, depicted in right-facing crowned bust wearing the George IV State Diadem and the Victorian Coronation Necklace. The concave domed surface frames the portrait with a ring of Lunar calendar animals encircling the field. The legend ELIZABETH II AUSTRALIA 2023 100 DOLLARS is inscribed around the periphery, with the engraver's initials JC appearing below the bust truncation.

Reverse description A detailed relief of a rabbit facing right, depicted holding a sprig of vegetation, rendered against the convex domed reverse field. To the left of the central motif appears the Chinese character 兔 (Rabbit). The encircling legend YEAR OF THE RABBIT is inscribed around the periphery, accompanied by the designer's initials BS. The composition celebrates the Year of the Rabbit in the Chinese Lunar calendar.
