Reverse description A dynamic composition depicting twelve Canada Geese (Branta canadensis) in full flight, rendered in finely detailed high relief against a mirror-polished field, their outstretched wings and varied attitudes conveying motion and unity. The bilingual legend arcs around the periphery, reading 'TOGETHER INTO THE FUTURE' along the upper border and 'ENSEMBLE VERS L'AVENIR' along the lower border, all within a plain raised rim. The design, engraved by Ago Aarand, was issued to commemorate Canadian national unity.
