Reverse description The full Arms of Fiji displayed centrally, comprising a quartered shield bearing a British lion passant guardant in the chief, with sugarcane, a coconut palm, a dove, and a bunch of bananas in the quarters, surmounted by a British Royal Crown and supported by two Fijian warriors in traditional dress. A scroll below bears the national motto in Fijian. The commemorative dates 1970 and 1995 flank the crown at the top of the field, with decorative floral rosettes and a dentilated border ring. The legend SILVER JUBILEE OF INDEPENDENCE arcs around the periphery, with the denomination $100 prominently displayed in the lower field.
