| Obverse description | Oval gold flan struck in the form of a Fabergé egg. At centre, the diademed effigy of Queen Elizabeth II faces right, set within an ornate cartouche of rococo scrollwork and floral arabesques. The legend ELIZABETH II appears beneath the portrait. Flanking the lower field are two crossed ceremonial swords with a floral basket at centre, all rendered in high relief.
