| Obverse description | Right-facing crowned effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, wearing the George IV State Diadem and a pearl drop earring, with a delicate chain necklace visible at the truncation. The portrait, modelled by engraver Raphael David Maklouf, is rendered in high relief against a mirror-polished field. The legend ELIZABETH II arcs along the upper left rim and COOK ISLANDS along the upper right, with the date 1992 inscribed at the bottom.
