| Additional information |
Issued as part of Perth Mint's ongoing "Victory" bullion program, this 2021 release coincided with commemorations marking the 75th anniversary of the end of World War II — an event Australia observed with particular weight given the Pacific theater's direct threat to the continent and the fall of Singapore in 1942, the single largest surrender of British-led forces in history. The sixth portrait of Elizabeth II, by Jody Clark, first appeared on Australian coinage in 2019 after a phased rollout across Commonwealth mints.
Perth's .9999 fineness standard has been a deliberate point of differentiation from Royal Canadian Mint bullion since the 1980s.
