Reverse description A detailed high-relief rendering of a standing goat occupies the central field, depicted in profile facing left with finely engraved fur texture and curved horns, set against a plain polished field with small tufts of grass at its feet. The date 2003 is inscribed vertically along the left field, while the Chinese character 羊 (goat) appears to the right. The legend 1 OZ 9999 GOLD is inscribed along the lower exergue. The design is framed by a beaded inner border consistent with the Perth Mint's Lunar Series I coinage.
