Reverse description The reverse depicts the closed 'Napoleonic Egg' (1912) Imperial Fabergé Easter Egg in high relief, commemorating the 200th anniversary of the Patriotic War of 1812. The egg is richly ornamented with engraved decorative banding and bears a central cartouche with a crowned imperial double-headed eagle emblem. Surrounding the egg are six octagonal colored miniature panels, each depicting scenes of military figures and cavalry from the Napoleonic era rendered in polychrome enamel-style coloring. The legend 'IMPERIAL FABERGÉ EGGS' is inscribed in the upper arc of the oval field.
