Reverse description Printed in orange on pale paper, the reverse is dominated by a large central oval guilloche panel containing the supported royal coat of arms with lion and unicorn supporters and motto ribbon below. Denomination numerals '100' appear at left and right within scalloped guilloche roundels, and the bank name is set in a bold arc across the top. The inscription 'INCORPORATED BY ROYAL CHARTER 1836' runs along the lower margin, with the printer's imprint 'PERKINS, BACON & CO. LD. LONDON' beneath it.
