Obverse description High-relief effigy of King Charles III facing left, uncrowned, depicted in civilian dress with jacket and open collar, rendered with fine engraved detail capturing the King's mature features including characteristic hair and facial lines. The portrait is attributed to engraver Dominic Tatcher, whose initials DT appear in the lower field to the right of the bust. The legend CHARLES III arcs above left and AUSTRALIA arcs above right, separated by raised dots, while the denomination 100 DOLLARS curves along the lower periphery. The portrait occupies a broad, mirror-polished field characteristic of proof high-relief production.
