Obverse description The Tazumal pre-Columbian pyramid vignette occupies the central right portion of the note, rendered in intaglio against a multicolour guilloche underprint in shades of green, gold, and blue. The national coat of arms appears to the left of the pyramid, with the bank title running vertically along the left margin and the serial number printed twice in red — once at upper left and once at lower right. The denomination numeral 100 is printed in large format at upper right, with CIEN COLONES in letterpress along the right edge.
