| Reverse description | The reverse displays a square central perforation flanked horizontally by two Manchu script words reading 'Boo-he' (ᠪᠣᠣ ᡥᠣ᠋), the Manchu rendering of the Board of Revenue mint name, one syllable to each side of the hole. A single Chinese character 當 (dang, meaning 'valued at') appears above the perforation, and the denomination numeral 百 (bai, meaning 'one hundred') appears below, together indicating a value of 100 cash. All elements are contained within a plain field bounded by an inner square rim and an outer raised circular rim. |
