| Obverse description | Central field features a large Chinese character within a raised circular border, surrounded by a ring of raised pellets forming an inner decorative band. Four small cross ornaments are positioned at the cardinal points outside the pellet ring. The horizontal legend reading 'Year 3 of the Republic of China' (年三國民華中) is inscribed across the upper field, with the character 文 positioned at the base. The overall design is cast in low relief with a plain, slightly granular field surface characteristic of contemporary cast imitation cash coinage. |

The legend arranged around the periphery reads 四川軍政府造 (Made by the Szechuan Military Government) in the upper arc and 當制錢壹百文 (Worth 100 Cash currency) in the lower arc.
