Obverse description	The obverse is printed in reddish-brown intaglio on a cream-coloured ground with fine guilloche underprint. A three-quarter portrait vignette of a distinguished gentleman with a moustache, rendered in detailed intaglio, occupies the right field. The central area carries the large bold denomination legend "CIEN BOLIVIANOS" framed by an ornate rosette guilloche medallion, with the issuer name "BANCO CENTRAL DE BOLIVIA" across the top. Two facsimile signatures appear below the central vignette, flanked by serial numbers in the upper-centre and lower-right, with small numerals "100" and a red cross emblem in the lower-left field.

Reverse description	The reverse is rendered in reddish-brown on a cream ground with guilloche underprint throughout. The central vignette presents a detailed architectural view of the Universidad San Francisco Xavier de Chuquisaca, its colonial bell tower and arcaded courtyard facade rendered with fine line engraving. The inscription "UNIVERSIDAD SAN FRANCISCO XAVIER DE CHUQUISACA" appears to the left of the building. The issuer name "BANCO CENTRAL DE BOLIVIA" runs across the top, and the denomination "CIEN BOLIVIANOS" is set in bold lettering along the lower margin, with numeral "100" repeated in the lower-left and lower-right corners.
