Obverse description The national emblem of Oman occupies the central field, depicting two crossed khanjar daggers overlaid with a pair of crossed swords, surmounted by a royal crown. The dual Hijri and Gregorian dates — ١٤١١هـ and ١٩٩٠م — flank the emblem horizontally at mid-field. The legend سلطنة عمان (Sultanate of Oman) appears in the upper field, with عمان to the left and سلطنة to the right, while the denomination ١٠٠ بيسة (100 Baisa) is inscribed below the emblem. The issuer's name البنك المركزي العماني (Central Bank of Oman) curves along the lower legend. The design is framed by a decorative dashed border running along the inner rim.
