Obverse description The national arms of Oman — crossed khanjar daggers and two crossed swords — appear at right centre against a multicolour arabesque guilloche underprint. The issuer's name in Arabic script is inscribed at top centre, with the denomination in large Arabic calligraphy at centre. Two signatures with their titles appear below the denomination value, and the note number is printed in Arabic-Indic numerals at upper left and lower left. Elaborate foliate cornerpieces and an intricate geometric border frame the design throughout.
