Reverse description The reverse features a striking composition centered on the Three Crosses Monument (Pomnik Poległych Stoczniowców) of Gdańsk, the iconic memorial erected in honor of the shipyard workers killed in the 1970 strikes, rendered prominently in the middle field. Behind the monument, a panoramic cityscape of Gdańsk with its characteristic Gothic church towers fills the background in low relief. Across the lower half of the field, the word 'SOLIDARNOŚĆ' is rendered in the distinctive, flowing Solidarity movement logotype script. The dates '1980' and '1990' — marking the founding and tenth anniversary of the Solidarity trade union — appear in the lower left and lower right of the field respectively, flanking the base of the monument.
